However the El Tovar is ideal for anyone who wants a historic place to stay that is right at the canyon.

This hotel has welcomed guests such as Theodore Roosevelt and Albert Einstein and dates back to 1905. While this is reason enough to consider this fabulous hotel, what's even better is that the finest rooms are right on the Rim. You will get breathtaking views right from your window. The more luxurious rooms have a balcony included. If a hotel just isn't your idea of fine lodging, consider renting a condo or vacation home. You may even want to consider a timeshare, especially if you plan to return to the area every year.

An RV is a fun way to explore the the Grand Canyon area and can help you bond with your family.
